To All Local 2013 Members,

It’s hard to believe that another year has come & gone by so quickly but, as we begin to wind-down the 2023 Holiday Season, I just want to thank all of you – the Members – for your hard work, efforts and dedication in your approach to the challenges we all face day-in & day-out; not only to the customers you may serve, or the patients you may care for – but most of all – the spirit of Unity and Solidarity to your Brothers and Sisters in your UNIONIZED workplaces and beyond. Without that spirit of Solidarity and Dedication to one another, there is no Unity – and without that Unity… there is no UNION !

It’s your collective efforts that drive the Strength of your UNION and it’s that collective effort that creates the ability to hold your employers accountable; and THAT in turn allows us to help you to do better and achieve even greater gains at the bargaining table as your contracts come due. No contract can get ever better without the demonstrated UNITY of the Membership – you must always remember that simple fact. Unity = STRENGTH; Strength = BARGAINING POWER; Bargaining Power = IMPROVED CONTRACTS; Improved Contracts = A BETTER WAY OF LIFE FOR YOU & YOUR FAMILIES !
