Dear Local 2013 Members:

Thanksgiving is just a day away and as Americans shop, eat, and celebrate this holiday season, it is you – all of our 1.3 million UFCW International including 13,000 Local 2013 members – who will make it all possible!

From health care; meatpacking; retail; grocery stores to food delivery; warehousing and manufacturing, you will once again provide an essential service to millions of families this week – just as you do 365 days a year, every year.

As difficult and challenging these past years have been for so many of us, you continue to make a difference every single day in the lives of so many across our communities.

While words alone cannot do justice to the positive impact you have on so many families, especially during the holidays, and all of us across the UFCW International and our own Local 2013 are thankful for the power of our diverse union family.

Thank you for your hard work and strength but, most of all, thank you for fighting for the better life you and every member of the UFCW have earned and deserve.
